Teen dies of injuries sustained in truck/bicycle crash

The bicyclist hit by a pickup truck Tuesday night (May 22, 2012) in south Bossier City died today.

    Kevin Michael Mouser, 18, passed away at LSU Medical Center from injuries he received in the crash in the 4600 block of Barksdale Boulevard.

    Mouser was riding in the inside northbound lane of Barksdale Boulevard when he was struck from behind around 8:30 p.m. by the pickup truck.

    The driver of the pickup truck was not injured. Investigators have determined the pickup truck driver was unable to avoid the collision.
