A Webster Parish pastor is challenging Saturday's election results. Cotton Valley voters passed an ordinance that will allow stores to sell beer on Sundays.
However the Pastor of First Baptist Church - Cotton Valley claims the election wasn't fair. Don Shirley says the election should be recalled. He says town officials helped distribute materials encouraging citizens to vote yes for the ordinance.
Shirley hopes the alderman will realize the election was unfair and issue a new election. Town officials have not responded to our calls to comment on this matter.
