Braving The Heat To Help Santa

It`s amazing what people will do for 15 seconds of fame these days. Even if it means standing outside on a hot summer day for hours just to be a part of a Christmas movie. The "City of Lights" has been transformed into a winter wonderland for the NBC movie "The Year Without Santa." Just like every year, hundreds have flocked to Front Street; only this time as movie extras. That means alot of waiting and trying to stay cool on a hot Christmas day. "I am getting drinks, water, that is mostly what we need," said Braley Vance of Bossier City, La. If you want to give acting a shot, the "extra fun" continues through Friday night. Just head to the Natchitoches Events Center dressed as you would to attend the Christmas Festival. Filming begins at 2pm and runs through midnight.
