In today's school spotlight, 8th graders at Broadmoor Middle Lab are taking the time to help others. The group was inspired to host a canned food drive after reading The Hunger Games. They say while the book is famous for it's dog-eat-dog theme, the message is more about humanity and loving one another. Now that the popular novel is being turned into a movie, these students hope others like them understand the real meaning and stand up for what they believe in.
