Gingrich is the second presidential hopeful to make his way to the ark-la-tex this week...Following Rick Santorum's visit to a Shreveport church on Sunday.
Owners of Strawns say the event is free and open to the public on a first come first serve basis.
"To have Newt Gingrich coming, it's flattering and we are glad to have him. I'm sure we will treat him with hospitality and everyone will be glad to see him," said owner of Strawn's eat shop Buddy Gauthier.
Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney will also make an appearance in the Ark-La-Tex this week.
There's a reception this Friday at the Petroleum Club on Travis Street.
