Homer Humphreys is an angler and Red River fishing guide, who's been in the tournament twice and has been fishing professionally for almost 40 years. Humphreys says this tournament not only brings an immediate economic boost to the Shreveport-Bossier area, but it also encourages people to visit year-round for the excellent fishing. Humphreys says while he's not hitting the water this weekend, he will be out meeting fans. He believes the tournament could be one of the best, since weather forecasts show warm temperatures which means fish will be on the move. We'll have more Bassmaster Classic coverage every morning this week, here on NBC 6 News Today.
