It`s being called one of the largest drug busts in Bienville Parish history. More than 100 federal, state and local agents infiltrated a ring of suspected drug dealers, raiding several homes overnight. Operation "Johnny Ringgold" is a multi-agency effort to get methamphetamines or "ice" off the streets of Bienville Parish. "From Wynn, Natchitoches, Red River. All the surrounding areas were coming to Ringgold to purchase ice." said Bienville Parish Sheriff John Vallance. Investigators say it took more than a year and a half to infiltrate this small-town drug ring. "When you`re dealing with a small town like Ringgold. If the same agent was on the south side of town buying ice and went up on the north side of town there would be questions asked." said Vallance. The raid targeted four homes where undercover agents bought drugs in the past. Agents seized a half a pound of suspected ice at one home. They found 91 grams of crack cocaine in one home and confiscated 203 grams in another. Several guns were also seized. Officers had arrest warrants for 14 alleged drug dealers. Only two were home during the raid, Tyrone Taylor and Terry Gray. "Obviously we`d like to see more people in handcuffs right now...We`re gonna track them down to the end of the earth until they come to justice." said D.E.A. Assistant Special Agent Kevin Harrison. During the raid, 5 others, including a juvenile were also arrested on numerous charges. Authorities believe the suspected dealers started off selling crack cocaine then branched off into selling large quantities of ice purchased from an outside source in the Dallas area. Federal agents arrested 33-year-old Ruben Wilson in Arlington,TX. They believe he was supplying the ice. Three of the other suspected drug dealers were already behind bars on other unrelated charges. All of the suspects are facing state and federal charges of drug distribution and conspiracy to distribute. Louisiana State Police are still looking for the following suspects: Robbie Mitchell Marcus Brackens LaJuan Shehee Juanita Madden Michael A. Jones Travis Moore
