Heat lamps are just part of the plan to keep football fans warm this weekend in Super Bowl Village
Art Loy and his wife Rustie tested one of the warming lamps in Indianapolis, Indiana during their visit downtown to see the transformation of Georgia Street.

Fans will find the warming lamps throughout Super Bowl Village.

They hang about 10 feet and generate a decent amount of heat.

The Super Bowl host committee hopes the free heat will keep the street full of football fans.

There are also heated seats and heated rest-rooms with running water.

The old Nordstrom department store is also a warming designation.

Temporarily renamed as "The Huddle," it is now fully renovated on all three floors.

The first floor includes seating & food vendors.

Super bowl event organizers hope fans will visit downtown even without a game ticket because the heat is on.
