House Panel to Review Cockfighting Ban

The Louisiana House sent a proposed cockfighting ban to a panel that`s killed similar measures in the past. The bill wasn`t expected to make it out of the Senate, but it did so with flying colors.
The bill will be heard by the House Agriculture Committee. One lawmaker asked that the House Criminal Justice Committee hear the measure. However, a majority requested the agriculture group hear it.
