La Tech-Mississippi State Sept. 24to be Televised on ESPNU

RUSTON, La. - ESPN, in conjunction with the Southeastern Conference, announced Monday that Louisiana Tech's Sept. 24 game at Mississippi State will be televised nationally on ESPNU.

Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, Miss.
Mississippi State owns a 7-3 advantage in the all-time series but Louisiana Tech defeated State, 22-14, in the team's last meeting in 2008. Louisiana Tech has won two straight in the series.

The game will mark the ninth time in three years that Louisiana Tech will be featured on a national broadcast and the second time this season. Tech's game at Southern Miss on broadcast on FSN.

The last time Louisiana Tech played a game on ESPNU was Sept. 5, 2009 in a 37-13 loss at Auburn.
