Michael Swan of Bossier City pleaded guilty Thursday to firearms and weapons charges in United States District Court.
Swan was arrested in October 2005 following a search of his car that turned up four small grenades, nearly 200 grams of methamphetamine as well as other drugs, a handgun, and a large amount of cash.
A federal grand jury returned an indictment in February of this year charging Swan with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of a firearm and in relation to a drug trafficking crime, and possession of unregistered grenades.
Swan will be sentenced in U.S. District Court October 5th of this year.
