Updated: January 7, 2009
A man suspected of supplying more than 60-percent of the drugs in Shreveport-Bossier sits behind bars tonight. Federal authorities are expected to announce indictments against Ronald King on Thursday. Back in May, a joint task force made of numerous local law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant on King`s Dallas home. He and several others are now in custody. On Thursday, around 20-more indictments dealing with the drug trafficking ring should also be announced. Ronald king`s indictment includes drug conspiracy and distribution charges to name a few. The U.S. Attorney`s Office and other agencies we spoke declined to comment on King`s case, pending a news conference scheduled for Thursday. We`ll have more for you on this story then.
