If you have been outside in the last few days, then you probably noticed how hot it is. There are plenty of fun things to do outdoors but make sure you are being safe in the hot temperatures. News channel six hit some of the major "hot spots" where people are cooling off, trying to find out what really works. "Drink a lot of fluids and try to stay in the shade, mow the lawn in the morning time,"said Terry Harris. On average, nearly 200 americans die each year due to heat-related illness.
