Father/son international theologians to speak at Wiley College’s Religious Emphasis Week

Two internationally-known pastors and theologians will be among featured speakers at Wiley College’s Relgious Emphasis Week, which begins Monday and will run through Thursday.
Renowned theologian Reverend Doctor Otis Moss Jr. will speak at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Julius S. Scott Sr. Chapel.
Dr. Moss gave the opening prayer at the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Service for President Barack Obama. In addition, he was a consultant to President Jimmy Carter at Camp David.
His son, the Reverend Otis Moss III, who was was cited in Newsweek magazine as one of "God's Foot Soldiers," also will give what is called a "tag-team" sermon at 11 a.m. Tuesday, also in the Julius S. Scott Sr. Chapel.
Both men are considered to be dynamic speakers and both have been guest lecturers at Harvard University, Yale University, as well as other well-respected venues.
In addition, Religious Emphasis Week will feature a "Spiritual Arts Village," where students will use various art styles to explore and express their faith. "Expressions of Faith" will be a student-led worship service on Thursday night that will close Religious Emphasis Week.
