Denham Springs woman arrested by Attorney General and U.S. Marshals

 

     A 21-year-old Denham Springs woman has been arrested in connection with the killing of a Bridge City man, announced Attorney General Buddy Caldwell and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

    Chasity Griffin, of 230 Beech Street, was booked with second degree murder and with being a felon in possession of a firearm after being arrested by the Attorney General’s Fugitive Apprehension Unit and U.S. Marshals.  Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office conducted the criminal investigation.

    Griffin is accused of being involved in the fatal January 2 shooting of Theodore Pierce, who was found dead at Commerce and Fourth Streets in Bridge City.
