A Haughton woman was arrested late Thursday night for domestic abuse battery and simple property damage, according to Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen.

Elizabeth Villard Mutz, 49, of the 100 block of Betty Jean Road, was taken into custody after she grabbed and pushed her boyfriend and damaged property at his house.      The boyfriend told Bossier Sheriff’s deputies he and Mutz got into an argument after he picked her up at a bar.

When they reached the boyfriend’s house, he went to his bedroom, but she kicked open the door, grabbed the phone out of his hand and broke it.  She then pushed him backwards over a table and a lamp, breaking them both.

The boyfriend told deputies Mutz was not living with him at the present time, but she had within the last five years.  Due to the statements of the boyfriend and the physical evidence, she was placed under arrest.
