Four suspects have been arrested in connection with an ongoing investigation into the criminal distribution of narcotics:

·         James Tannehill, 25 years old, of Vivian, LA, charged with two counts of  manufacture/distribution of a Schedule II narcotic.

·         Kasey Elder, 20 years old, of Bloomberg, TX, charged with two counts of manufacture/distribution of a Schedule II narcotic.

·         Johnathan Barger, 29 years old, of Vivian, LA, charged with possession of a Schedule II narcotic and two counts of manufacture/distribution of a Schedule II narcotic.

·         Kenneth Graves, 43,  of Shreveport and charged him with one count each of creation of clandestine labs and manufacture/distribution of a Schedule II narcotic.

A citizen complaint led the Narcotics Unit to the residence on Ninock Street in Shreveport. Once there, agents discovered two working methamphetamine labs, leading to Graves’ arrest.

In addition, agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit searched three locations in Caddo Parish Tuesday as part of an ongoing investigation into the criminal distribution of narcotics.

Agents searched homes in the 1000 block of North Lillie Street in Vivian, LA and the 2800 block of Ninock Street in Shreveport, as well a residence at an undisclosed address in South Caddo Parish. The last address is not being released because the case involving that home is still being investigated.

In addition, an in-depth investigation led agents to the home on N. Lillie Street in Vivian where they located eight individual methamphetamine labs, three of which were actively manufacturing the drug at the time of seizure.

Authorities with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit are trained and certified to dismantle suspected methamphetamine labs and gather evidence recovered in those investigations. A hazardous materials clean up crew was utilized to dispose of the hazardous chemicals.
