A Bossier City woman was arrested on Thursday for possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor, according to Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen.

Alma Rose Cisneros, 43, of the 3100 block of Shed Road, was taken into custody after agents with the Bossier Sheriff’s Department, the U.S. Postal Inspector and the Bossier City Police Department conducted an operation in reference to a controlled delivery of marijuana to a location in Bossier City.

An original parcel, containing 13.8 pounds of marijuana was intercepted by U.S. Postal Inspectors.  The parcel was re-packaged by the inspectors to contain 4.04 pounds of marijuana and delivery was attempted at the Cisneros address in Bossier City.  No one was at that address, so the parcel was taken to the Benton Road Post Office.
