Haughton man jailed for domestic abuse/child endangerment

Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen says a Haughton man was arrested for domestic abuse child endangerment Thursday.

Dustin Argel Rhodes-Griffin, 20, of the 5000 block of Bellevue Road, was arrested after striking his wife numerous times.  According to his wife, Dustin came to bed around 11 p.m. and demanded sex. When she denied him, he punched her in the ribs and back approximately every five minutes.

This carried on for approximately an hour and a half. Children were present in the room. Rhodes-Griffin was arrested and transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility. His bond is pending.

Police arrest suspect in stabbing

An argument between two brothers ends with a stabbing in the cedar grove neighborhood.

it happened shortly after 11 this morning at the corner of 73rd and southern avenue in shreveport.

police say 26 year old edward bouya was stabbed in the chest by his 16 year old brother.

bouya was taken to a local hospital with non- life threatening injuries..

his brother is charged with aggravated battery... His name is being with held because he is a minor..
