Busted in Bossier

By: Nancy Cook
Updated: December 8, 2010

A Minden trio was arrested Sunday night for simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, resisting an officer and simple criminal property damage, according to Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen.

Christopher James Dowell, 22, of the 100 block of Dowell Lane, Latoria Shakell Iverson, 21, also of the 100 block of Dowell Lane, and Curtis M. Rabb, 17, of the 200 block of Chrysler Street, were taken into custody after a witness saw two males and a female enter a residence on Adner Road.  When Bossier Sheriff’s deputies arrived, Dowell took off running and was chased approximately 200 yards before he was caught.  Iverson and Rabb were later found in a vehicle on a parking lot in the 1000 block of Highway 80.

Deputies found a screw driver in Dowell’s right pocket and there were obvious pry marks on the rear door where entry was made.  Deputies also saw a flat screen T.V. and other items which had been removed from the house, sitting outside the residence.

Dowell, Iverson and Rabb were transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and booked.  Their bonds are pending.
