Caddo Parish Animal Control Slow Response Time

Caddo Parish Animal Control is responding to calls slower than usual. That is because the office is short staffed; 2 staff members are on medical leave and another resigned. The top priority calls are vicious dog calls and bite calls. For all other calls, residents are asked to be patient. Staffing should be back to normal within the next few weeks once the staff members return from medical leave and the office hires new staff.
