Bossier City police caught a suspect burglar overnight after he broke into a tire store. Frederick Douglas Carson III, 31, of Bossier City was arrested on a charge of simple burglary for burglarizing the Barksdale Tire store in the 2400 block of Barksdale Boulevard.

Police were called to the scene just before midnight after a witness saw someone rolling tires and wheel rims away from the business. Officers arrived on the scene and found a portion of the rear exterior wall of the business had been pulled off.  Officers immediately began a search of the area and found Carson nearby attempting to climb over a chain link fence. He was taken into custody and booked into the Bossier City Jail upon being questioned.

Officers also recovered three tires and rims that where found not far from where Carson was taken into custody.
