A Shreveport man has been indicted by a Caddo Parish grand jury for three counts of first degree murder.
Marcus Donte Reed, 33, is accused in the August shooting deaths of Jeremiah Adams, Jarquis Adams and Gene Adams. Caddo Parish officers found the victims inside a vehicle in the driveway of a residence in the 9500 block of Keatchie-Marshall Rd. Investigators say the three were killed by shots from an assault style rifle.
In Louisiana, first degree murder is punishable by the death penalty. It is administered by lethal injection. As of January 1, 2010, there are 85 inmates awaiting execution in Louisiana.
Reed is scheduled for arraignment Nov. 23 in Judge Leon Emanuel’s court.
