Bulldogs and Tigers Face Off in PMAC

BATON ROUGE, La. - The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (2-8) will travel south to take on the Louisiana State Tigers (6-3) in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center Saturday, Dec. 23, at 3 p.m. The Bulldogs are coming off an 82-73 loss to the Centenary Gents Wednesday night in the CenturyTel Center, while the Tigers dropped their last contest, as well, against the Washington Huskies 88-72 in Seattle. Tech`s leading scorer is senior Chad McKenzie, who is averaging 11.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Senior Marcus Elliot is close behind with 10.7 ppg and 3.0 rpg. The Tigers are led by 2006-07 pre-season All-American senior Glen Davis, who is averaging 18.8 ppg and 10.1 rpg. Tip off is set for 3 p.m., and can be seen on Fox Sports Southwest and will be broadcast on local FM KXKZ 107.5 in Ruston.
