Quincy Dewayne Robinson, the man who allegedly abducted a 4-year-old in Greenwood, is in police custody this afternoon.
Shreveport police responded to a kidnapping call at the Palamar Motel, 3875 Greenwood Road, at around 8:30 this morning. Initial reports were that following an argument with the boy’s mother, Robinson set out on foot with the boy in tow. Robinson is not the boy’s father.
Area officers, including K9, began an extensive area search and later found the child wondering in the area of I-20, between the Monkhouse and Jewella Exits.
The mother and child were reunited, and the police investigation is continuing.
