Painted Pony Caught

“Someone is waitin just for you

Spinnin wheel spinnin to

Drop all your troubles by the river side

Catch a painted pony on the spinnin wheel ride…”

Caddo Parish Deputies have something in common with the lyrics of that old Blood, Sweat and Tears classic,  “Spinning Wheel” - they’ve caught a painted pony.  A pink painted pony.

Or anyway, its mane is painted pink. Spray painted pink.

The horse with the pink-painted was found running loose on Christy Drive near Providence Road in south Caddo Parish, according to Sgt. Doyle Smith of the Sheriff’s Stock Patrol, and so far, no one has come to claim it.

It probably goes without saying that anyone with information about the horse, or its owner, should contact the Caddo Sheriff’s Office at 318-681-1121.
