Southern Arkansas' McKee Honored by GSC

MAGNOLIA, Ark. - Southern Arkansas Universitys Mallory McKee, a 5-4 libero, has been named the Gulf South Conferences West Division volleyball Defensive Player of the Week. A sophomore out of Coppell, Texas, McKee totaled 88 digs for the Lady Muleriders last week, averaging 6.29 per game. She totaled the second most in her career in a match with 38 against Ouachita Baptist, and added match-highs of 35 and 15 against Arkansas Tech and Christian Brothers, respectively. McKee now has three matches of 30-plus digs for the season. She is currently fourth in the GSC, averaging 5.20 digs per game. McKee also added four kills, three assists, and four service aces in last weeks three matches.
