NBC 6 MDA Telethon Raises $389,214

NBC 6 wrapped up the 45th annual Jerry Lewis MDA telethon. 20 hours raising money for local children with muscular dystrophy. The total raised was $389,214.
Business owners, students and members of community organizations donated their time and money to make this year's telethon a success.
Firefighters from several local fire departments volunteered to answer phones during the telethon. Centenary College Baseball players also answered phone calls.
Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon raised $58.9 million nationwide.
