Tech Signee Named MOP of All-Star Game

RUSTON - Louisiana Tech signee Antonio Baker was named the Outstanding Defensive Player in the 69th Louisiana High School Coaches Association All-Star football game Friday night at LSU" Tiger Stadium. Baker blocked a field goal that led to a touchdown and also recorded an interception in leading the East to a 14-0 win over the West. The former Amite High School prep star blocked a 43-yard field goal attempt which set up a 32-yard touchdown run on the following play, giving the East an early 7-0 lead. Baker was one of four Bulldog signees to play in the contest along with Randy Grigsby, Daniel Porter and Rob McGill.
