THE BOSSIER-SHREVEPORT BATTLE WINGS DEFEATED AMARILLO SATURDAY NIGHT 46-34 TO EARN THEIR FIRST WIN ON THE ROAD SINCE MAY 2005. THE VICTORY ALSO AVENGED A 53-34 LOSS EARLIER IN THE SEASON. JJ RATERINK COMPLETED 20 OF 29 PASSES FOR 172 YARDS AND TWO TOUCHDOWNS AND WAS NAMED PLAYER OF THE GAME. CHARLIE MYLES TOOK THE IRONMAN AWARD FOR PLAYING BOTH OFFENSE AND DEFENSE. THE BATTLE WINGS FINISH THE SEASON ON THE ROAD NEXT WEEK AT OKLAHOMA CITY..
