Oilers Force Game 7

By: Import User
Updated: February 13, 2007
Hometown boy Fernando Pisani scored another goal and tough guy Raffi Torres deflected in one of his own, sparking the Oilers to the brink of a historic comeback in the Stanley Cup finals Saturday night. Edmonton forced a Game 7 that seemed improbable just a few days ago, beating up and beating down the Carolina Hurricanes in a 4-0 rout that wasn`t that close. No, this was total domination by a team that seems intent on becoming the second in NHL history to rally from a 3-1 deficit in the finals and make its own mark on a franchise once dominated by the likes of Wayne Gretzky, Paul Coffey, Jari Kurri and Grant Fuhr - whose retired numbers all hang from the rafters of Rexall Place.
