Lail Picks Up Mid-Con Weekly Pitching Award

Lail (Ft. Worth, Tex.) picked up her tenth win of the season in a victory over Louisiana-Monroe on Tuesday. She tossed five innings, allowed two hits, one run, and struck out seven Lady Indians. She came on in relief in the Ladies loss to Stephen F. Austin on Wednesday, pitching 3.2 innings and scattering two hits and just one unearned run. For the week, Lail was 1-0 and recorded an ERA of 0.81 while striking out eight and surrendering just two runs (one unearned). Centenary will host Texas-Arlington in a doubleheader on Wednesday beginning at 4 p.m.
