Keithville Man Killed in Early Morning Motorcycle Crash

A Keithville man is dead after a Tuesday morning motorcycle crash. It happened just after 2:00am on North Hearne. Jerry Sanders crashed his bike, two cars then ran him over, one of those drivers fled the scene. Another car wrecked into a ditch trying to avoid the accident.

EXPLO management team arrested; charged in 2012 Camp Minden explosions

Six members of EXPLO Systems management team, including the company's president and secretary-treasurer were taken into custody without incident by Webster Parish Sheriff's deputies Tuesday afternoon. The arrests were in connection with the Oct. 15, 2012 bunker explosion at Camp Minden that was felt as far away as Arkansas.
