AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Taylor Jungmann gave up only one run on six hits in 8 1-3 innings to lead Texas to a series-tying 14-1 win over TCU in the NCAA Super Regional on Saturday.

The Longhorns (50-12) scored four times in the third inning, including twice when Jantzen Witte's throwing error allowed Brandon Loy and Tant Shepherd to score. Texas added to the lead with a seven-run fifth. Cohl Walla's bases-loaded triple to left-center put Texas up 9-0. Shepherd extended the lead to 12-0 with an two-run homer.

Losing pitcher Steven Maxwell (11-2) was pulled after giving up five runs, none earned, on four hits in 3 2-3 innings.

Jungmann (8-3) finished with nine strikeouts.

Texas and TCU (50-12) will face off on Sunday for a berth in the College World Series.
