Shreveport Police Awards

Dozens of officers and support personnel inside the Shreveport Police Department are awarded Tuesday night at Riverview Hall. It`s part of the SPD`s annual awards banquet sponsored by Agurs Business Association. Some 500 tickets were sold in the jammed packed house filled with guns and badges everywhere. Some of the BIG winners: Cpl. Joshua Feliciano and Officer Freddie Clinton who were awarded with SPD`s hightest honor, The Medal Of Valor. Other BIG winners, the Life-Saving awards went to Cpl. John Delgado and citizens Diana Guin and Jerry Willard. Plus Cpl. Daniel Atkins, Cpl. Pete D`Arcy, Officer Srederick Matthews, Cpl. Van Wray, Cpl. Robert Grant, and Lt. Jim Haacker. Along with Sgt. Kevin Goodwin, Officers freddie Clinton, Billy Ray Johnson, and Jermaine Babers. Additional salutes included various awards within the Shreveport Police Department.
