A man involved in the October 2004 armed robbery and shooting at a Shreveport Thrifty Liquor store was convicted Thursday of attempted 2nd degree murder and armed robbery.
Caddo Assistant District Attorney, Damon Kervin, filed a habitual offender bill of information to determine if Jemario Freeman is a habitual offender. Freeman will stand trial February 26th to determine if he is indeed a 2nd degree offender. If he`s found guilty, his sentence will range from 49 1/2 years to 198 years in prison.
