Mansfield Mother Disappears

Updated: January 7, 2009
It`s been one year since an Ark-La-Tex mother went missing. Nineteen year old Constance Anderson was pregnant when she disappeared from her DeSoto Parish home. She was last seen around 11 pm on January 24th, 2006. Investigators say she was on the way to a friends house that night, but never made it. Constance Anderson was well known throughout her DeSoto Parish community and is described as a friendly person who would often take rides from strangers. Investigators say they`ve had several leads, but so far none have panned out. Now they`re pleading for your help. "Somebody out in this community may very well know what happened to her... and where she`s gone to. It would be great if they came forward," said Cpl. Adam Ewing, of the DeSoto Parish Sheriff`s Office. Constance Anderson was two months pregnant when she disappeared, so she should have given birth around July of last year. There have been rumors of her being spotted in Texas and the New Orleans area. But investigators have not been able to confirm that information. The DeSoto Parish Sheriff`s Office is still investigating this case. They`ve even posted Anderson`s picture on a website for missing adults. If you have any information about the disappearnce of Constance Anderson please call the DeSoto Parish Sheriff`s Office at(318) 872-3956.
