Minden Residents Complain About New Homes

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Residents in one Minden neighborhood are upset about new homes being built around their property. The city council approved the construction of a couple homes in one of the area`s upscale neighborhoods. The new homes won`t be as big as the ones already in place, and people who live nearby seem to think bigger is better. Now, city council members have okayed the construction of three more homes near resident John Ray that will sit on just two acres of land. That means, they`ll be smaller than the houses already in the neighborhood. One fear Ray has, the new construction will drive the value of his home down. Not everyone stands on Ray`s side of the fence, though. We also found a man who welcomes the additional neighbors the new houses will undoubtedly bring in.
