A Texarkana, Arkansas, police officer is recovering after being injured during a chase Thursday night.
Officer Bobby Furr responded to a tresspassing report at the
T-Town diner.
As he tried to arrest James Bledsoe, 51,
Bledsoe took off in his truck and threw Furr onto the street.
The officer`s wrist was broken and he`s awaiting surgery.
Bledsoe led police on a 70 mile chase.
Bledsoe is charged with 1st degree battery, fleeing and resisting an officer and criminal tresspassing.
