First Violent Death of 2007 in Shreveport Investigated as Justifiable Homicide

Shreveport Police are investigating a Wednesday afternoon stabbing death, the first of 2007, as a justifiable homicide.
It happened around 4:30 in the 8900 block of Brookwood.
Police say 19-year-old Calvin Edwards` girlfriend stabbed him twice in the neck during a domestic dispute.
He later died at LSU Hospital.
She was questioned and released.
Her name is being withheld because she isn`t being charged.
