Two Shreveport police officers are on administrative leave tonight pending the outcome of a joint investigation by the Louisiana State Police Insurance Fraud Unit and the Shreveport Police Department. Sources tell KTAL that the officers are suspected of changing the accident report detailing a December 11 wreck. An officer`s wife was alledgedly involved in that accident and did not have insurance coverage at the time. The changes were allegedly made in an effort to conceal that. Shreveport Police Chief Michael Vansant says the allegations will be investigated agressively. If investigators determine the officers did change the accident report, they could face criminal charges and possible arrest. Stay with KTAL for the latest information as it becomes available
