Reported by: Karen Hopkins Tuesday, Nov 3, 2009 @09:11pm CST You might be wondering where all the flood waters are flowing from.
The Bodcau Dam in North Bossier is the "highest in its history." Only NBC 6 took a rare look at these rushing waters. The Army Corps of Engineers is monitoring the dam for any signs of weakening, 24-hours a day. "It's a little overwhelming the amount of water. Normally it's all dry behind me," Frank Worley says. Bodcau's waters are gushing into the Red Chute bayou and overflowing into many south Bossier homes. |
