Rescue workers from multiple jurisdictions responded to the call on Tuesday night.  Sheriff Victor Rose called off the search just before 10 P.M. due to high waters and a strong current.  Rose said it was simply too dangerous to send rescue workers in the water to find the woman.

The search is expected to resume at first light Wednesday.
