Two days after meeting with Cowboys assistant head coach/offensive coordinator Jason Garrett, the Broncos interviewed Dolphins assistant head coach/secondary coach Todd Bowles - their seventh candidate since firing Mike Shanahan last week.

According to the Denver Post, the Broncos' search committee will discuss all seven candidates over the weekend and decide by Monday whether to make an offer to someone or conduct a second round of interviews.

The Detroit Lions also have expressed interest in Garrett. Cowboys wide receivers coach Ray Sherman is expected to interview for the St. Louis Rams' vacancy in the coming days.
