Karen, a Cincinnati native, joined the KTAL team in July 2008. She is excited to get to know the people of Shreveport and to tell their stories.

Before coming to KTAL, Karen worked as a reporter for WOUB news in Athens, Ohio. She also interned at WKRC-TV in Cincinnati, The Fox News Channel in New York City, and CNN in Washington DC.

Karen graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ohio University's EW Scripps School of Journalism. She loves to travel and studied abroad in Spain.Karen thanks her parents for always supporting her.
