(Baton Rouge) -- Controversy continues to swirl over that big pay raise Louisiana lawmakers gave themselves in the just ended regular session.
At last word, the Secretary of State's Office had received requests for more than two-dozen recall packets, and so far, it's received recall filings for four state lawmakers who voted with the majority of the House and Senate to double their base pay.
The recall filings target House Speaker Jim Tucker and three other members of that chamber -- Representatives Franklin Foil, Steve Pugh and Joe Lopinto, all Republicans who represent conservative legislative districts.
Governor Bobby Jindal has labeled the pay increase excessive, but says he won't veto it.
