Country music legend Dolly Parton is not happy with shock jock Howard Stern.
Someone on Stern's staff apparently took quotes from one of her audio books and manipulated it to make it appear that she voiced some opinions Parton says she would never say.
The show ran several caustic and X-rated quotes where Parton allegedly commented on her former duet partner Kenny Rogers and former trio partner Linda Ronstadt.
Dolly says, quote, "I have never been so shocked, hurt and humiliated in all my life.
In a blue million years, I would never had such vulgar things come out of my mouth." The words were Dolly's, but they were taken out of context from one of her audio books and manipulated into the quotes used on the Stern show last week.
