Stephanie
Claytor joined NBC 6 News in September of 2012. Although she was born and raised in Twinsburg, OH, a surburb of Cleveland, she came to the ArkLaTex after working in rural northeast Missouri, where she worked as a reporter and weekend anchor at KTVO-TV.
Stephanie has also worked as Fulbright English Teaching Assistant at La Universidad de La
Sabana in Bogota, Colombia. While living in South America she became
fluent in Spanish, blogged for the organization Color de Colombia. Stephanie also studied abroad in the Dominican Republic during her college
years.
Stephanie is a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse
University, where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast
Journalism, International Relations, and Spanish.
Stephanie is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys latin dancing, traveling, and keeping in touch with
friends she has made along the way.
