Election Votes Certified

Scranton, Lackawanna County - Three days after voters went to the
polls, election officials began the process of certifying the results.
In an update from your Local Election
headquarters, Workers were busy at the Lackawanna County voter registration
office Friday.
They were going over the ballots and
making sure all the results were correctly tabulated.
Based on unofficial returns,
officials say Ray Nearhood was successful in getting the Republican write-in
nomination in the 112th district.
He is expected to face Democrat
Kevin Haggerty in November.
