ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- Four candidates remain in the race for the Republican
presidential bid.
Saturday's caucus may not be easy to predict.
"I don't know what to expect other than the fact that we do have four candidates that are still in the process," said Bob Ott, chairman for the Buchanan County Republican Central Committee. "In past years the primary election that we had a month ago would have determined how the state was going to vote for a presidential candidate."
Last month, voters at the primary gave the nod to Rick Santorum who took every county.
But the fight was far from over. Voters will get a chance Saturday to possibly change Missouri's mind.
"We expect that there will be spirited group of people because we have four different factions all vying for attention," said Ott.
Three candidates have been back to the Show-Me State. Santorum made the rounds and Ron Paul spoke to large crowds.
But if anyone could steal the vote, it might be Mitt Romney.
"We've got work to do," said Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. "I need you guys to caucus all right. You got Saturday. You're going to come together for a caucus. I need you to go out and vote for me."
The caucus in Buchanan County begins at 10 a.m. at the Buchanan County Courthouse.
